TAFE NSW | Sydney Royal Easter Show
We were delighted to collaborate with TAFE NSW, to illuminate their garden project at the Sydney Royal Easter Show.
This year, TAFE NSW’s garden celebrated the connection between regional landscapes and urban environments. The garden was a collaborative effort across several TAFE campuses, including Blue Mountains, Richmond, Padstow, Ryde, and Meadowbank, with contributions from students in Horticulture, Landscape Construction, Parks & Gardens, and Landscape Design.
Designed as a space for visitors to sit, rest, and relax, the garden showcased plants grown by students, including edible species that were thoughtfully integrated with native and exotic plants.
Diploma of Landscape Design students brought fresh perspectives to the project, influencing the garden’s layout and plant choices.
We worked with the designers and their construction team to enhance the space, demonstrating how well-planned illumination can transform a garden from day to night.
Path Light Linear 112s guided visitors throughout the garden, and Wall Down Lights illuminated the Barn to create a warm, inviting ambience. Linear lighting was installed within the timber decking. An innovative solution to uplight and define the vertical Atlantis wall garden, while Accent Lights were used to highlight key feature trees, adding depth and visual focus throughout the garden.
