The @tafensw's project garden at the @sydneyroyal_eastershow celebrates the connection between country and city. Showcasing all areas of the landscape industry—Horticulture, Landscape Construction, Parks & Gardens, and Design—it blends native, exotic, and edible plants, reflecting current trends in sustainable gardening.Considered lighting enhances key features: Path Light Linear 112s guide visitors throughout the garden, Wall Down Lights illuminate the barn, and Accent 8 Lights highlight feature trees. Linear Neon Side Flex, subtly embedded in the deck visually defines the vertical Atlantis wall garden.

Visitors are welcome to explore the garden outside the Flower & Garden pavilion. @sydneyroyal_eastershow runs until April 22nd.

We were excited to collaborate with @tafensw for their project garden currently being showcased at the @sydneyroyal_eastershow. This year’s garden brings the country to the city, celebrating regional and urban connections through a collaboration across NSW TAFE campuses. Designed as a relaxing space, it showcases student-grown plants, blending edible, native, and exotic species with fresh insights from Landscape Design Diploma students.

‘Between Moments’ is a Show Garden by Ben Hutchinson Landscapes at this year’s @melbflowershow. Designed as a sanctuary for well-being, it blends a traditional sauna with water, rocks, and native flora, creating a balanced, reflective space. Iconic Australian species like eucalypts, lemon-scented tea trees, banksias, and kangaroo paws enhance its natural beauty.Considered lighting defines the garden spaces. Path Light Domes illuminate walkways, Accent Lights highlight trees, Linear Lighting frames the sauna area space by recessing it into the timber of the batten wall, and Underwater Lights enhance the pond and waterfall, adding to the tranquil ambiance.
